Stir Crazy? Oh, that one guy that did those beats for ICP.....
I found that being diverse with my production and doing multiply genres seems to turn people away from my work at times. Everyone will always have tracks they dislike because every artist I produce for has a different style. This really works against me in the end as I do not have a set style or something that I am the "go to guy for". People that prefer my Hip Hop might not enjoy my Horrorcore works / fans that love my rock compositions may not favor my Dubstep productions and vice versa.
I think people expect to hear wicked tracks from Stir Crazy and get upset / dislike when I do anything that is not dark. They automatically expect stuff comparable to the works I did for Psychopathic Records / Death B4 Dishoner (Lokey/T.O.N.E-z) etc. Thing is... I had to become versatile in able to sell my works and do production with multiply people. I always wanted to have anyone of any style hit me up and be able to grab instrumentation from myself... having a variety of beats means that could happen!
I'm sorry if you hear a track produced by me that you are not feeling, but just know that I have many other tracks and will continually have something you can appreciate.
